A SPIRITUAL TREAT IN JERUSALEM

Nourish your mind, body and spirit this summer in a unique program of Holistic Judaism that is transformative and not just informative.

The Yin-Yang of the Jewish Year July 4th - 9th & August 1st - 6th.

Holistic Judaism sheds new/old light on experiencing the sacred cycles of nature, time and space - the Jewish Cycle of Festivals. This yearly cycle is a carefully balanced series of steps that guides you to progressively spiral upwards in your spiritual quest by experiencing the inner dimensions of each of the Festivals. Holistic Judaism draws upon Kabbalah, Hasidism and midrash as well as a range of holistic healing methods, meditation, movement, and mask making.

The Tree of Healing July 11th - 16th

The Kabbalistic Tree of Life represents the macro-micro structure of the Universe. The week will concentrate on exploring our inner worlds through using Biblical archetypes to understand the Sefirotic structure of the Tree within and to begin the process of healing the Inner Tree. The work will involve bringing the Biblical stories alive through close narrative analysis, and the integration of the Sefirot through a T'ai-Chi like form of movement (T'ai-Chi of the Tree) meditations, and hands-on healing.

The Gates of Prayer July 25th - 30th

What is it to pray? What is it to open up one's heart to God, to cry out, to dwell in the silence? Is it possible to actually establish a relationship with the Divine that is personal and intimate? During the week we will explore the different gates as paths to the inner sanctuary of the Divine palace. The work will include Hitbodedut (talking with God), various Jewish meditative practices, davenning, singing, dancing and above all 'working with God in joy!'

Time: Sundays to Fridays from 8:30am to 1:00pm

Cost: one session - $150; two sessions - $280; three sessions - $400.

Concessions available.
